Subaru New Vehicle Limited Warranty

The Subaru factory warranty, which is included with every brand-new Subaru vehicle, is an excellent standard protection package. The bumper-to-bumper coverage covers factory defects. This plan lasts for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The wear item limited warranty, which covers components such as brake pads and wiper blades, has the same set of terms. 

A powertrain warranty is also included with your new vehicle coverage. For five years or 60,000 miles, you can rest assured that your new Subaru's engine and other powerful internal parts are covered, as well as its differential and transaxle. Additionally, with your new Subaru, you get a five-year rust perforation limited warranty. There is no mileage limit on this warranty, which covers issues related to rust and corrosion. Your new Subaru also comes with a lifetime limited seat belt warranty, which covers your Subaru's seat belt functionality, ensuring you stay safe while out on the road. 

The Subaru new vehicle limited warranty covers manufacturing defects, including parts and problems with craftsmanship. Repairs or damage due to accidents and racing, as well as environmental damage like hail, are not covered. In addition, regular maintenance requirements are also not covered, and nor is damage caused by using unauthorized parts in your Subaru vehicle. 

Hybrid System Limited Warranty

If you choose one of Subaru's plug-in hybrid vehicles, you also get a limited hybrid system warranty. Repairs for eight years or 100,000 miles are covered for your plug-in hybrid components. These include your charging components, electric drivetrain, high-voltage battery pack, power control unit, and much more. 

Certified Pre-owned Subaru Warranty

When you buy a certified pre-owned Subaru, you can drive confidently, knowing that every vehicle must meet high standards before it's sold. If the pre-owned Subaru passes a 152-point safety inspection, it is available as a Certified Pre-Owned Subaru. Any necessary repairs are performed before sale by trained technicians. With a Certified Pre-Owned Subaru, you are covered by a seven-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. This warranty begins on the date of the pre-owned Subaru's original sale. 

Subaru Roadside Assistance Coverage 

Subaru roadside assistance coverage is a great option to help you feel safe and secure around York or wherever your journey takes you. This coverage includes 24-hour roadside assistance, including towing, jump starts, gas delivery, and more. Under this plan, your vehicle will be towed to the closest authorized Subaru retailer. If an authorized retailer is not available within 75 miles, you can have emergency repairs performed anywhere. Your towing fees are also reimbursable. 

Subaru Added Security Program

The Subaru Added Security Program is an optional extended service agreement that provides coverage in case of mechanical breakdowns. This program can boost your vehicle's protection and increase the duration of your coverage. As long as the car isn't for commercial use and doesn't have an added snowplow, all Subaru vehicles are eligible if they are still under the Subaru basic warranty. The price of your Subaru Added Security Program plan depends on the coverage and terms. You can choose between the Classic and the Gold Plus coverage plans. 

The Classic Plan 

The Classic coverage plan protects your Subaru's major components. This includes critical components like your engine and transmission. In addition, this plan covers towing and will reimburse you for vehicle rental while your car undergoes the necessary repairs. Classic coverage has a flexible term length with eight different plan terms available. Depending on your needs, you can choose a plan to cover you for up to eight years and 120,000 miles or for 10 years and 100,000 miles. 

The Gold Plus Plan 

The Gold Plus plan includes the components covered in the Classic plan. It also covers your air conditioning, steering, brakes, all the parts needed to power your Subaru's advanced internal systems, and more. The Gold Plus plan also adds more support while your Subaru is undergoing repairs. This includes reimbursement for your accommodation and meals if you aren't home and 24-hour roadside assistance. The Gold Plus plan also has flexible term lengths similar to the Classic plan. Additionally, you can choose from low deductible options, including zero and 100 dollars. 

Why Should You Choose an Added Security Plan?

In addition to peace of mind, the Subaru Added Security plans provide several other benefits. It's a good idea to consider these plans instead of a third-party extended service agreement. This is because you always know that factory-trained service technicians will repair your vehicle using Subaru-recommended parts. 

The Added Security plans can be affordable. When you enroll in an Added Security program, you can incorporate the cost into your regular car payment. If you have one, you will also pay your deductible only once per repair visit. These plans can be conveniently canceled or transferred. You can cancel the plan and request a prorated refund, or, with a transferable plan, you can increase your vehicle's resale value and make it an even more appealing purchase for a new owner.
